AURICULAR ACUPUNCTURE
Nervous System, Emotional & Physical Wellbeing
I am a qualified Auricular Acupuncturist, graduating from The College of Auricular Acupuncture and a member of MAS.
WHAT IS AURICULAR ACUPUNCTURE?
Auricular acupuncture is a specialised form of acupuncture that works through the ear, a recognised microsystem of the whole body using mapped points.
Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), this approach understands health as a state of balance — between Yin and Yang, the smooth flow of Qi and Blood, and harmony between body, mind and spirit (Shen). When this balance is disrupted, symptoms may appear both physically and emotionally.
Auricular acupuncture has been used within TCM for centuries and was later introduced to Western practice in the mid-20th century through the work of Paul Nogier. Today, it is widely used as a complementary therapy, supporting physical, emotional and nervous system balance in a gentle, effective way.
Treatment works by stimulating specific points on the ear to:
Calm the nervous system.
Support emotional regulation.
Ease physical tension and pain.
Encourage the body’s natural ability to rebalance.
Sessions are subtle yet powerful, often experienced as deeply calming while also supporting physical ease and clarity over time.
WHAT I OFFER
Auricular acupuncture is well suited to both one-to-one sessions and group settings.

Group sessions work beautifully alongside:
- Meditation or yoga classes
- Workplace wellbeing programmes
- Retreats and community events
Sessions are discreet, gentle and non-intrusive, offering shared calm while respecting individual boundaries.

HOW I SUPPORT
People come to me feeling overwhelmed, depleted or out of balance — emotionally, physically or both.
My work is grounded in creating a calm, confidential and supportive space where people can pause, speak openly if they wish, and allow the nervous system to settle. Being heard is often an important part of the process.
This approach is shaped by professional training and lived experience. Everything shared is treated with care, respect and complete confidentiality, and each session is guided by what feels right for you.
MY APPROACH
My approach is calm, collaborative and consent-led. Each session begins with conversation, allowing us to agree the focus and pace together.
Rooted in TCM, I work with the body rather than forcing outcomes, supporting meaningful change through gentleness and intention.
Following consent, I assess the ears and create a recognised or bespoke protocol. Fine needles (usually 5–7) are gently placed before you rest comfortably, often with music or sound frequencies to support relaxation. Treatment time is around 35–40 minutes, with quiet support throughout.
Auricular acupuncture can support a wide range of emotional, physical and nervous-system-led experiences.
Treatment is always individual and responsive, recognising that symptoms often overlap and evolve.
